Getting started
Guests and accounts
A guest profile is the person as the ID document spells them — that is what the police list needs. An account is a company, agent, tour operator or OTA with negotiated terms: rate plan, commission, credit limit, bill-back.

A guest as the ID document spells them, with preferences, VIP and consent.
Companies, agents, tour operators and OTAs with their terms.
How to
Create a guest
- Guests › Guests › New: the full name as on the ID; for Egyptians the four name parts (first, father, grandfather, family).
- Nationality, ID type and number — an Egyptian national ID fills the date of birth and gender by itself; formats are checked.
- Mobile, e-mail, preferences, VIP level; consent to data processing and marketing.
- Family members: the head of family and dependants, and whether the marriage document was seen where practice asks for it.
ID documents
- On the guest, ID Documents: scan front and back, number, expiry; mark the primary one — its details become the guest's identity.
- Scans are visible to front-office roles only.
Accounts
- Guests › Accounts › New: kind (company, agent, tour operator, OTA, wholesaler, government, airline), the company contact, tax ID.
- Terms: negotiated rate plan, commission % and basis, credit limit, Bill-back allowed, payment terms, contract dates.
- A reservation on the account picks up its rate plan, segment and source; at check-out the folio can be billed back to it.
Questions the desk asks
The guest is blacklisted — can we still book?
A manager can; the reservation warns and refuses to confirm without the override.
Who is a "Guest" in Contacts?
The contact tag is set automatically from the guest profile, the ownership and the accounts; tags you add by hand are never touched.
